Christmas is not a time for three operatives in the Special Investigations Agency to celebrate in the normal course of events, but it's especially bad for Jenna MacDonald after an assignment goes sour. So she's off to Banff in Canada to sort herself out. Only someone's determined to make trouble for her there- is it the mysterious man who draws her ever deeper under his spell?
Rhys Cellyn uses none of the magnetic pull he seems to have over Jenna as he teaches her about the world she belongs to, but knows nothing of. He only hopes she makes the right choice at the moment of the winter solstice, but it's a choice only she can make. His future
happiness depends upon it as well.
This one was a bit different, well written and I enjoyed the fact that when it came to choices they made their own - no coercion, no emotional blackmail. The characters were not only hot, they were smart, strong and the sex was smokin. I would, however, liked to have seen it explore them a bit further, but that's just the piggy part of me that always wants more of something interesting.

Sounds good :)
ReplyDeleteAnd lol, we all have that part that wants something done differently or more of
I agree. I do understand some authors write to their publishers specifications - and this may be a call for a short novel length work, as opposed to the author writing a book any length and then selling it. Trouble is reviewers don't know that! And when something is good we can't help it, we want more! :)
