Determined to find the person who destroyed her best friend and mentor, Eris just has a rather bizarre way of going about it. Since it continues to work when other methods fail, she'll place her trust in the odd gift given her and the rest of the world can just go hang. Now if she can get rid of that big bodyguard the cops seem to think she needs, it'll go so much faster.
While his latest assignment might be incredibly beautiful, Eris is also a few sandwiches short of a picnic- or is she? Her techniques might not be what he's used to, but he has to admit that she's been able to finish when others have given up. Now she's got him not only tied in knots with wanting her, but with believing in her. What's a guy to do, but follow his heart?
I have to admit that when I first started to read I was instantly attracted to the quirky, rather tough, take no prisoners woman that Ms. Tribell has created in this book. Throw in a hunky, alpha disbeliever and you've got the recipe for the kind of book that entertained me throughout the entire read. With definitive descriptives that painted vivid pictures which played almost movie-like through my mind and a light touch of humor to leaven this suspenseful tale of realistic murder and mayhem, she has done a fine job of crafting a really good book. I think I'll keep it.
