Being bored with the same-old same-old, Lucy was nonetheless ill-prepared for being kidnapped by an honest to goodness Alien. Of course, yelling at him about his ship sitting in her backyard might have had a bit to do with it. Now she's in forbidden territory and forced to hide while Three tries to figure out how he's going to keep her safe from "the boss".  Although Three's ideas for keeping her busy are just what the irrepressible Lucy has thought about doing since the hunky man from outer space picked her up.

Three still can't figure out what malfunction caused him to wind up on the ground on Earth, yet he's even more puzzled by the fact that he simply could not leave the Luscious Lucy behind when he knew it was going to cause him no end of trouble. His friend Hyll may not be the friend he thought and Lucy seems to keep ending up in places she's not supposed to be. But when love does come about it's from a direction no one even suspected it could.

Space abduction is not a new premise, but it certainly took a new direction with the cast of characters in this book. An irrepressible, somewhat wacky earth woman committing her own unique brand of interstellar mayhem, while "creations" become more than the simple mechanics they were meant to be. So if you want excitement served rare with sides of humor, tenderness, a pragmatism not often found, hunky heroes (some truly unexpected), sex and lovemaking to make you sweat, Ms. Elsborg has created a story designed to tease and tantalize as well as make me outright laugh.

  1. Thanks for your wonderful review of LUCY IN THE SKY by Barbara Elsborg. I'm a fan and a Science Fiction Romance writer. Ms. Elsborg's offbeat and touching SFR had me either in stitches or white-knuckled with the suspense. This story really is in a class by itself.

  2. Thanks very much for the review. I'm glad you enjoyed it. The story all came about because I looked out of my kitchen window and wondered what I'd do if I saw a spaceship in the garden. Actually, I'm fairly certain, I'd hide in the closet.
