With everything he had to deal with already, a feisty, human, female soldier was a complication that added heat, lust, and need at the most inopportune times.

This second in the series was a lot smoother in many ways-such as segues into different scenes- with a lot more action to keep the interest. The sex was hotter, yet the entire book encompassed more than simply that by exploring the characters in more depth,thus bringing them to life. There are a few surprising twists which could get a bit confusing if done too often, but overall it was an intense, sexy read.
