1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die: Lets hope I live to a ripe old age!

Now, way back in 2006, when I wrote this: 1001 Books: A Bibliophile's Dream! I said I would read some of these books and display my findings on this blog. Well, as you can imagine, I nearly lost the will to live just getting this post together! There's no way I am going to even attempt to read all of them, but I do like my lists (as well as my notebooks), and since I love this book I felt it deserved a place here. I have to add, there is also no way I am reviewing some of these books, for example Pilgrim's Progress (awful!), but I have read a few of the classics listed here, and some of the others, although I never actually reviewed them -- to my knowledge. So, if I do get around to reading some of these, I will add the links to the reviews here. But don't hold your breath expecting heaps of links to magically appear overnight, this is a life long challenge and since I don't plan on giving up this blog anytime soon, I have until I die to do it! :)

Just remember, Rome wasn't built in a day, neither was this list!

  11. I guess as you know about the list, you're aware of the 1001 Books spreadsheet and have a copy of the new v4 edition, right?

If not, head over to the spreadsheet page on Arukiyomi.
